Daniel Bess

Daniel Bess was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii. In high school, he worked with famous playwright Mark Medoff in his production of Stephanie Hero, as well as working with the Hawaii Theatre for Youth. At age seventeen, he moved to New York and trained in the conservatory at Purchase College.Upon finishing his training he began working on the New York Stage. His professional debut was in a production directed by Michael Mayer at the Vineyard Theatre. He also worked with Michael Grief at NYS&F and other productions before moving to Los Angeles to pursue a film career.
Daniel’s television premiere was in Fox’s award-winning drama 24 as the character Rick. He produced and starred in the production Waterfall that was shot in the mountains and beaches of Oahu His official film debut was Constellation, released in 2005. He has since appeared on the TV series Veronica Mars, Medium, Grey’s Anatomy, CSI, What About Brian and Numb3rs, and was in the film Munich as an American athlete. His most recent appearance was on the series Femme Fatales.
He is also a country/blues/Hawaiian/rock singer songwriter.
